i got them,

can't go super loud like my HT setup in my living room, but loud enough for me to turn it down when its time to fap.

pretty good rear speaker tbh, great for gaming, you do get some different sound effect when playing FFXIV
Yeah I do. Mines have this weird low buzzing noise when I'm not playing any sound. This becomes increasingly annoying at night time as I leave the music off at night. Apparently this is a known problem with the z506. It's not reallyone of those "maybe I got the bad one" cases but more like a "wonder when the buzzing noise will start happening, I hope not too soon". Also eventually when you turn it on and off, you'll hear a static noise each time doing so which was okay at first but becomes annoying as it happens every single time.

In my case, it was roughly 2 months after buying it brand new. It looks nice and it plays nicely as well... up until the point the buzzing noise comes in and ruins the quiet moments when the speaker isn't playing any actual sound.

Thanks for that information! I'll probably pass on this one and be patient for another speaker set.

i got this set when target put this set on sale last time, for around 34 bucks. Someone reported 21 was the lowest. but If you missed last deal, i guess 38 is still a pretty good price.

This was $33.74 last month: HERE

Makes sense to promote it when it's more expensive though, for sure. LMAO

Anyways, FWIW, these are pretty solid speakers for the price. I picked them up new at Target for ~$21 on clearance several months ago.
