Deal DetailsLast Edited by JohnOM April 25, 2016 at 06:29 PM
YES you can buy at one store and return at another for a lower price but YMMV so make sure that when you attempt this that you use two different forms of payment and tell them that you used the wrong card on your original purchase that you want to return it and purchase it again using a different form of payment. Could be a rewarding process but it certainly requires extra work if it's out of stock at the store with the lowest price.
Use brickseek to assist you in your searches but also USE THE WALMART APP!
I used brickseek initially to find the $109 deal but then after finding other deals in person I expanded my search to include other models. Brickseek helped me figure out what the prices were for each store but the inventory on Brickseek didn't always match what I found in person and or what I found using the Walmart app so YMMV using each avenue.
I used the app and searched "pressure washer" and then filtered the results to show what was available "At Your Store" and I kept changing my local store to different stores nearby to see what their local prices and options were. Normally if your store is out of stock on an item it won't even list it to begin with. What I found strange was that some stores were listing different models than each other but some had "not in stock" and low prices next to them, which Brickseek also showed those prices and 0 inventory. When I went to one of those stores though it DID have that item in stock on the shelf, which made me think that if the store shows "not in stock" but still lists the item, maybe there is a chance that it actually is there.
Originally in person I found and purchased the 2700 psi model with the 189cc Subaru motor for $154, the 2700 psi model with the OHV Honda motor for $169, and the 3000 psi model for $154. Since then I have purchased the 3000 and the Subaru for $74 and the Honda for $79, the prices have continued to drop since the original post. Does anyone have any experience with these? I decided to keep the Subaru rather than the 3000 Honda clone or the 2700 Honda. I liked the idea of the separate detergent tank on the Subaru.
1. AUTO SECTION NEXT TO AIR COMPRESSORS
2. AUTO/TIRE COUNTER, BEHIND THE DESK
3. ASK AN AUTO EMPLOYEE TO CHECK THEIR AUTO PARTS STOCK ROOM
4. ASK AN EMPLOYEE TO CHECK OUT BEHIND THE STORE IN THE WAREHOUSE
5. CHECK THE CLEARANCE SECTION OF THE STORE
UPDATE: Using the Walmart app I was able to find a store locally that had the 3000 psi and the 2700 Subaru priced at $74 each, which was confirmed using Brickseek. With the store manager's permission I was able to return my original $154 Subaru and $154 3000 psi at that store and then purchased them again for the $74 price because they were listed as IN STOCK at that store using the Walmart app!
PowerStroke 2700 psi Pressure Washer w/ Honda Motor - $79
item #: 40694372
I found this listed as low as $79 in Huntsville, AL as well as Riverdale, GA (30279)!
PowerStroke 2700 psi Pressure Washer w/ Subaru Motor - $74! Typically these DO NOT appear to show up on inventory using BS or the app!
Item #: 21119219
I found this listed as low as $20 in Morrow, GA (30260) as well as $74 in two other locations! That has to be a mistake, right!?
PowerStroke 3000 psi Pressure Washer w/ 212cc OHV Motor - $74 or LESS! (reported low is $20 and a couple SD users have confirmed getting that price!)
Item #: 40694378
I also found this listed as low as $20 in Morrow, GA (30260) as well as $74 in MANY other locations! A 3000 psi pressure washer for $20!? YMMV of course but two SD users have reported getting one for that price so that's encouraging!
Brute by Briggs & Stratton 2700 Max PSI CARB-compliant Pressure Washer w/175cc Motor - $74

Credit: Thank you to user: blackb13 for finding this one as well!
Mine were all found and purchased in the 35801 area. I know that even though I listed this as VERY YMMV there will be people that give TDs because their stores don't have them in stock or whatever. Oh well, boo hoo. I wasn't going to post these originally but I decided that I would post them in hopes that others can also replicate the deals.
Good luck! Let me know what you find!

2. Go to store that has the discounted price. (Complete the in-store pickup if needed).
3. Return the pressure washer at customer service, but tell them you're going to look at their other models and to leave the pressure washer there just in case you decide that one is the best option after all (or take it with you!)
4. Walk to the auto section and browse the pressure washer section. Grab some detergent (if you want some) and the engine lubricant (strongly recommended).
5. Walk back up to customer service and grab the cart with the pressure washer (if you didn't take it with you previously). If anyone asks, tell them you're taking it with you to the regular cash lanes because you still have other shopping to do anyway.
6. Proceed to checkout with the generator and whatever other items. When the pressure washer scans at the register it'll reflect the lower price that is current at that store (ie: $25, $74, $154, etc)
In General you can rely on brickeeker for price ie...if it states a particular model is at the discounted price at a store even if it is out of stock you can rebuy it there for the lower price, brickseek is very good with price...better then wmapp You can get an idea of item stock with Wal-Mart app but it may well be for another model washer other then what is shown in stock...ie...app may show 3000 in stock b u t in reality it's the 2700 in stock this will require you to investigate....easiest way to investigate is to find someone with a handheld inventory checker for them to check in-store inventory levels so you could just have them check all the models then it will require someone to go get the item. The best departments to find someone who has nothing but time on their hands is jewelry, fabrics, pharmacy and electronics, all depending on what time of day for instance middle and early on there are only crickets chirping around electronics.

Protecting the pump
Karcher pump protector only $2.50
Good reviews on Amazon, suggest only 2-3oz will be used per use so should last for 8 or so uses per bottle
I know people were talking about using marine antifreeze instead, I just figured this is cheap enough to get for the bottle to use the marine af on...also this should Probably be used after every use to protect the pump..
I suggest price match to Home Depot or Lowe's and leave the Wal-Mart IN STOCK if it is depleted others will not get to pm and ruin it for everyone. Let it be at WM
