Hmm...pretty good. I'm use to building systems for myself though. I guess people don't know how, this would be a good budget gaming system.

I don't know much about ibuypower desktops - do they have a lot of issues? or consistently good product?

Also, does anyone know if we pay taxes when ordering?

Don't know too much about the company, I liked them on facebook for a contest lol. but you pay sales tax if you live in CA and WA it looks like.

Good catch.

It actually includes an upgrade to 16GB RAM. And many upgrades are priced reasonably, including a 120GB SSD instead of the HDD and even the i7 option. It would have been an awsome deal, but shipping kills it.

Me too, but most people would rather not. And it would be tough to put similar system together for this price.

$75 shipping blows though. That's way more than it costs.

With this, plus the -$40 discount when you take a 120GB SSD instead of the 1TB HDD, it's a FP deal at $459.99 AR and a 3-year warranty.

I don't think you can ever really future proof a PC, since requirements change pretty quick, but if you're not using it for VR, a GTX 950 + i5 PC for under $500 is pretty good. Usually $500 would get you something that is on integrated graphics.
