Newegg has a very sweet deal on the EVGA GTX 960 4GB Superclocked graphics short form factor card through 4/21/16 for $169.99 after $20 mail-in-rebate. Card comes with a free download of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" - about a $60 value; so in essence this 4GB card is only $110! Initially, I wanted to wait for Pascal that is expected to be released later this summer. But at this price, I decided to just pick up this card, and I'll just get Pascal at a later date after the Pascal hype and price subsides.

Put your money on the table if you are so confident in a price drop to thread crap - if they aren't $99 by Christmas then you owe the OP $70.
even if it is $99 by Christmas(8 months away), every other card will drop accordingly. It is how the game is played. You know, Best current bang for the buck... GEESH, so easy, I thought a caveman could figure it out Frown :p

I use this site below to see if it is worth the $$ to upgrade. I try to jump at least 4 levels between upgrades Wink

TU, great price... You could probably fetch at least $20 for RoTTR on eBay.

Rebates suck. I fill them out and follow all directions, most of the time they say they didn't recieve it on time. Last round of rebates I sent out priority with sig confirmation - still haven't heard back, but look forward to throwing the proof of signature in their faces.

I read through a bunch of Newegg reviews. Most that mention noise say it is quiet or silent. One said it was noisy under load, but others say it still isn't very loud when loaded.

Should be quiet, but one of the dual fan models should be quieter: http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForc...B00VX1MJQ8
