Thread Details

For what's its worth, here's this weekend's WAYPTW thread.

At some point between work, taxes, and sleep, I'll be attempting to play the The Division incursion they added this week. My last attempt didn't get very far.

PAX East next weekend and I'm getting pretty hyped; gonna be my first time at PAX.

i didn't see this :/

i wrote the IRS a letter about my audit. hopefully i get my refund soon.

played board games Friday night and a lot of league of legends. poro king mode is the current featured game mode and on the PBE realm, they have hexakill on twisted treeline. I'm like 27w-18l or something stupid for hexakill. tons of games end in 5v6 or start 5v6 it seems. i did win a 4v6, we got an early lead and they surrendered at like 15 min. which was dumb, all they had to do was turtle and out scale us.

More Divinity on Tactician mode.
Tabletop night was Telestrations After Dark & Munchkin.
One of the Telestrations rounds started with "Jungle Fever" and ended up as "black anal".

Have yet to open Ratchet and Clank. Reviews are solid so I'm excited to try it out hopefully in the next few days.

Finished up the Dark Arisen expansion stuff on Dragon's Dogma. Not much beyond that.

What the hell was all of that..............

I tried to put a new suspension on my car...failed pretty miserably in that it takes over an hour per bolt removal...I like car stuff but freaking hate it too...so much stuff that I just can't budge. It sucks Frown

You have a breaker bar, and/or PB Blaster or something similar (which is not WD-40)?
When I was having problems getting the brake caliper bolts free on my Subaru, I ended up using a 3 ton bottle jack under the wrench to get me started.

Are we talking springs like coilovers or poly bushings or what?

Just one bottle jack? Why not four of them? One for each bolt of course.

Yes, I bought a bottle of PB Blaster and I had two breaker bars (not that two gets you double breaking though, haha). It was just all around bad news, spent so much energy try to get them loose that the next day I still just didn't have anything left... That, and I have under 2 hrs to work on it at the end of the day and I have to have the car put back together to drive the next day, so I can't let a project span a night either.

I bought a set of coilovers. Had waaaay too many miles on the car's stock suspension so it for sure needed replacement anyway. So I got the fronts on, and will have to play around with the dampener because it feels a little too stiff. They are adjustable with this little wrench. I also broke a link off my front sway bar so that isn't connected yet (replacement due in tomorrow) and my alignment is out now too, so the car is needing a little bit of love before the project is marked "completed". I also think my summers are going to rub my fenders, but it is close to clearing, so not sure if there are other solutions there besides rolling them?

Well, that sucks. Maybe a longer breaker bar? Those suckers must be stuck pretty well!
I feel like two hours would barely be enough time for me to do anything suspension related on a single corner... doing the shocks on my Mercedes, I was out there in the dark and the rain so I could get it finished that night.
And I got to do one of them twice because it turned out one of them had the wrong shock in the box Facepalm

Pretty much... rolling them. Or ease up the spring tension to lift it a bit?
