Don't know much about these phones, can it work on a GSM network overseas?

I would check this carefully before making a purchase. I do not believe that the SM-G900V was available with a 1.9GHz OCTA-CORE Exynos Octa 5420 processor. As far as I have been able to determine, the Verizon version of the S5 was only made with a quad core processor. Just a suggestion.

Could you elaborate? Do you mean this might not actually work on Verizon? I need to replace my s3 and was thinking of this. TIA.

I think what he is saying is the ad says that it what it has but he does not think they made it that way. And if that is so, I always wonder what else is not true in an ad.

The description says locked to Verizon. Does this mean I couldn't use it for Tracfone?

Verizon phones for the mostly part have been unlocked for GSM use for some years now.
I'm currently using and htc one m8 from verizon on tmobile. Rooting and unlocking bootloader is usually tricky though.

FYI: Price jumped to $160.
I meant I do not believe there is a Verizon S5 with a octa core processor. But I could be wrong OR the seller could have made a honest mistake. I'd get a confirmation before buying.

It's the quad core. Most of these sellers sell in such bulk they have little to no idea about the specs of their products. Octa core was international
