Latest firmware for the C1 camera is available from foscam.com (and NOT foscam.us!) at:

You leave you baby at home a lot?
great, go start a thread about it..
Might want to look at the security concerns associated with Foscam wifi cameras before buying.

I've got one of these. It works really well! The thing that impressed me the most about it is that it seems to hold it's wifi connection very well. That's a problem with some of the other PTZ foscams I own.

This is the going rate on Groupon so average deal. As mentioned above holds wifi and i really like the picture for being a 720 camera. I also have a small house it covers so YMMV

I do, it is perfect for the task. Use tinycam for android and a $30 amazon Fire tablet for a really high quality cheap solution.

Thanks. I am new to IP camera. can I see the baby away from the house, like on LTE signal?

I bought it to use as a baby monitor. I didn't feel like the microphone was sensitive enough for that purpose, but opinions will vary. I'm using a summer infant baby monitor instead - the foscam is easier to set up and has better video.

I had this issue also, but the android app tinycam has a built in amplification option that fixed that for me.

Yes, you may need to do some messing around with your router, but I do this with mine.

The setup of the device walks you through this...its actually quite easy, if you're fine using the foscam mobile app, you shouldn't need to mess around with anything on your router.

Is this completely wireless? Is it battery powered or does is have noticeable cords that have to be used?
