How is this different than 27MP67HQ version that Amazon sells?

27MP67HQ is the improved version of 27MP65HQ in terms of "Stand Design".

Special feature wise, the screen split (1.0) has been added on 27MP67HQ.

For 27" customers, it doesn't matter and definitely not worth the extra $120+

Screen Split is useful when you have large screen (29"+)..

How is this for gaming? I wan't to upgrade my Dell S2340L 23" 7ms IPS 60hz that I bought back in 2013, but don't want to break the bank.

How is this a good deal? 27" at 1920x1080 is terrible, imo. And for $170? I expected it to be 2560x1440.

I also bought the Samsung curved 27" (S27E510C) for $199.99. I got mine from Costco on Black Friday. It has the same VA panel as the S27D590, not IPS.

How serious of a gamer are you? Are we talking casual, or are you trying to go Global Elite in CS:Go for example. For average gaming, this would be fine. If you're serious about being competitive in the top tier of games, you would want something that's 1ms and 144hz refresh rate. Another thing to keep in mind is are you going to make the upgrade to 4k gaming soon? Because it'd be pointless to buy this if you have any desire to upgrade to that as well
