Why? One wipe with TP and you're dry. Also serves as a good verification that you're clean.

That's too bad. I've been waiting and waiting for a good price on a bidet but the air dry is one of the things I care about most. I guess I'll just wait for the right biobidet seat to go on sale.

Well, you'll be waiting for a long time. I have the bio bidet bb-1700 which has a strong air dryer...and it's a ways from being useful in a timely fashion. Even when I go through the whole drying cycle, it's still not totally dry. It's quicker and more efficient to just use a small hand towel honestly. Even when I go through the whole dry cycle I'll still give it a little pat as there's a couple drops that haven't dried and will drip if you stand.

Toto is a good brand, there's no reason you shouldn't go for this washlet.

why is this so expensive? Is it worth it compared to the sub $100 cheapies?

It DOES have dryer and people writes nice reviews in amazon about its dryer functionality. I don't understand the issue.

Trust me. You won't use it. It was way too slow and way too noisy to use.

It's an interesting feature but you can get a bidet for $30. So way to expensive to add over $200 for what's essentially a hair dryer for your butt.

Yeah seriously, how happy are you when you are in a public bathroom and see only a dryer and no paper towels for your hands?

How fast can you completely dry your hands with one of them? No very, and you get to rub your hands together to speed it up. Ugh I can't imagine relying on a dryer to dry your ass, unless you don't mind some butt drips in your boxers.

This has a heated seat and heats the water as well, doubt that can be found for $30.

Either way, I'll stick with flushable baby wipes for my premium wiping experience.

I use the one on mine all the time. No toto brand but I suspect it is the same basic thing. You just use TP to dry most of the water off and then the last little bit the air handles fine.
