I have a Samsung s2 shich was purchased mainly for travel. I purchased a couple vudu videos to watch while flying but it appears that I am unable let to watch. 8 have tried to download to micro SD card but apparently need another program to view. How do I download and watch these movies?

They're DRM'd, you'll need the vudu app on your tablet. You may have to download the movies from within the app, the copy from your computer could be a different format. I haven't use vudu much myself so my advice is limited.

Unless it's recently changed Vudu doesn't have the ability on android to play content offline https://forum.vudu.com/showthread...ndroid-App

You should be able to download through the Vudu app on the tablet.

I have a Samsung Tab Pro, LG G4 and a S7.. You can download and watch the movies offline or stream.. You'll just have to download the movies within the app.. I don't mess with moving folders, files and such.. The Tab pro however does not have the latest update and will not play anything above standard definition..

Does it give you an error message? Does the app freeze? What happens?

OK Chromecast fans. I plugged my chromecast into the back of my HDTV using the adapter for power that shipped with chromecast. I can see my tablet on the tv screen but when I try to play the movie I get a message "I need to remove the movie from the device to view. Grrr this is why I am not a fan of chromecast. Why can't I play a movie I rented from playstore. Now I need to rent again since my rental period is over.

I think this is more of a Vudu and DRM issue than an issue the Chromecast is to blame for. If you want to be mad at someone, Vudu gets my vote. MHL from the tablet with the right cable could be a solution. Vudu behaves better with roku so that's an option too.
