own the wired version and think they sound great. They are not heavily bassy, from a recovering basshead

it sounds great. agreed that no exaggerating bass. pretty comfortable to wear. used for almost 1 1/2 year still no problem.

The character of the sound is unique and wonderful. I like it better than both Seinheiser and Bose. The headphones are great for pop and hip hop because the bass punches hard but never fatigues my ears.

I have the Velodyne vFree headphones and they are on-ear not over-the-ear. I am not sure why Newegg has labeled them as such. The vBold are the over-the-ear model.

I got them for $40 about a year ago and at $25 they are worth it.

Worth it at $25, but not any more than that. Good, slightly bass heavy sound. Battery seems to last me 3-4 days of usage all day at work. They are on-ears, not over-the-ears like newegg says.

I can never open links from SD on my phone, I'm assuming it's blocking some kind of ad referral.
No NFC on these I'm guessing? also how do they charge? hoping for micro USB...

I bought a vBold on newegg when it was on sale last time, and they actually send me an open-box one with missing accessories. This happens in a high chance when you pay for this price range. So, be aware.
