Thread Details

I got BR40 4 LED Flood light from one of the store close to my home in NJ for 24$. There is no more availability within 15 miles for me, sharing it might be helpful to others.

This is in-store only. Items have been on clearance for a few months. All items in this category are extremely YMMV.

There are a lot of clearance lightbulbs at Staples (and have been for weeks). Most have been cleared out by now.

$2 8-watt (40w equivalent) reg price: $14.99 SKU: 275473
$3 11-watt (60w equivalent) reg price: $14.99 SKU: 269370
$5 15-watt (75w equivalent) reg price: $29.99 SKU: 572615
$6 XX-watt (100w equivalent) reg price: $32.99 SKU: 572878
$4 13-watt (XXw equivalent) reg price: $21.99 SKU: 269361
$7 13-watt (XXw equivalent) reg price: $32.99 SKU: 269363
$9 17-watt (120w equivalent) reg price: $39.99 SKU: 269360
There are tons more than I listed.

Awesome! The 2 stores near me had just the amount I needed. I have been waiting a long time for BR40 as they are never on sale in the NY market! Thanks OP!

Thanks OP. Found six floods and a standard 60W equivalent at our local stores and cleared 'em out for $42.

Even better is that our utility will rebate 50% off Energy-Star certified bulbs, meaning we just made out like bandits.

Great deal!

The new planogram was probably done already and it's old stock is probably in the back room with the other 100 totes of clearance product that aren't marked and thus they aren't about to go look for it. They'll probably get adjusted out of inventory and when that tote gets it turn to be sold, it will be adjusted back up again as each one is sold.

Is there any BR40's that work with HUE or any other wifi smart connected lighting?

Wow...would have been an awesome deal on the BR40s if they had any in my area. Not surprising I guess.

For those who need BR30 bulbs, I highly recommend the GE Reveal BR30 but check the color temperature on the package and look for the 2850K ones. They put out a white LED light easy on the eyes, not a yellowish tiny like the 2700K LED's put out or the blue tint the 5000K LED's put out. I did my entire house in the 2850K as well as both brother's homes and my parents, and everyone loves them. GE revised the packaging to be smaller, the 2850K can be a bit difficult to find, but worth it.
