Yes. Also, the 6121, 6141, 6190, 6580, etc. ARRIS SURFboards [surfboard.com]

Also, which might happen which is not often that refurbished cable modem sometimes are not able to activate due to previous owners who activated them already. Never happened to me but heard stories about it.

Works with Time Warner Cable. Their modem compatibility pdf says this will work with their 300mb down service in areas where that service is offered.

Good modem and good price. Walmart have them every now and then for $20 cheaper but quantities can vary. I bought it few months back and it works well TWC 200 Mbps

I'm afraid to go for a refurbished unit for this very reason.

can get a brand new 6141 for 65 from amazon http://amzn.com/B00AJHDZSI

should be good for 99% of people, doubt many people pay for 300+mbps. only different is the number of active channels 8 to 16.

Nice deal, especially since the SB6141 is on newegg new for the same price. One of the things to pay attention to with modems are the number of bonded down channels the modem supports vs the number of down channels your ISP actually provides.

This modem can handle up to 16 DOCSIS channels for bonding but in reality ISP's offer nowhere near this number. Some seem to be providing 8 channels in some areas while less than that in others.

If you already have a good modem that already supports the number of channels your isp provides you won't really see a general noticeable difference.

Not a fan of getting routers used or refurbished. There's a reason why it went back to the manufacturer. You're just hoping that they were able to fix the original problem in the first place. Considering how much you depend on your router, an unreliable router is very annoying
