i am not normally one to take a dump on a power tool deal by saying "well harbor freight has yada-yada"...but in the case of the electric shears the one from harbor freight is actually pretty solid. i've had it for a bit and it's performed very well

$49.99 is the current price - 20% ($10) = $40. $10 savings isn't much b/c the $49.99 "sale" price is on the higher end of their sale prices. it goes lower

as a FYI - the Kawasaki and the Harbor Freight one have the same identical housing.

Bought this product to cut tin flashing stayed within the thickness of tin and it worked great. Heavy but saves on hand cutting.

I am gong to agree with the harbor freight equivalent comments, I have the HF and used it to trim floor/trunk pans and patch panels with no issues. saved me alot of time and blisters over hand snips. so, if you need one you have options here.

How much is Harbor Freight warranty? The Kawasaki comes with a 2-year warranty.

At the risk of asking a stupid question, would these work on carpet?
