Great find, too bad a lot of them have rubber soles and not many with leather soles

Why the leather sole need? Work in finance or I banking? Just curious. I have multiple AE's and love them but hate not having more rubber-soled pairs for crappier weather days...

so true, these kind of shoes at this price pts are great for foul weather days.

I started with Madison /Nike air several yrs back, now most of our shoes are Cole Haans, fit me nicely esp for this price point

If a walker-commuter, rubber has its obvious durability over leather.
But I suppose I prefer the more formal, cleaner look of leather soles. Makes me feel less like I'm playing dress-up. It might also give me the ability to out-snob others who wear rubber soles (?) which is obviously not rational

My rule for fashion is, "Would Bond wear it?" If no, then it's not for me.
