I'm not a bike snob and have had cheap bikes and very, very expensive bikes deep into 4 figures retail. If you are going to buy this, check that the rims are true, the brakes work and the calipers are seated at an even distance from the rim, that tire pressure is appropriate and check ALL fasteners on the bike (nuts/bolts) that they are tight enough. In all likelihood, whatever Wal-Mart build is not done well. It could mean your face on the pavement and a very expensive ER visit.

$129 still seems decent for this. Could be a good "around town" bike. Not too worried if it gets jacked.

inventory checker is showing me $40 @ my local walmart. Anyone else see this?? Not sure if I should get my lazy self up and drive over there just for the hell of it.

Mine has one listed as $40, but 50 miles away. How accurate is this price checker cuz I'll drive over there for that!

Was able to pick up a Schwinn Varsity 1200 for 60.00 a couple days ago. Not the greatest bike but well worth the money paid.

kinda crazy how cheap bikes are.

I have a Bianchi Kodiak mountain bike I got almost twenty years ago. It's got worn road tires on it but now I want to get new tires for trails. Decent tires I've found cost $30 each. That's $60. Another $10 for inner tubes.

$70. Or, should I scrap it or sell it cheap and get a Diamondback I often see on here for $300 or even less. hmmm
