Supposedly according to consumer reports these are the worst performing batteries money can buy. Can anyone chime in on how they perform/how long they last?

They are comparable with any other generic alkaline battery and seem to last as long as the Rayovac packs I had been buying.

They are as terrible as reported. While they're cheap, IMO the time you'll spend constantly replacing batteries negates the cost savings.

i use these in my remote controllers and in my xbox controller. they work just fine. the life seems comparable to the everreadys that replaced them. they're both alkaline so they're way better than zinc carbon (aka "heavy duty") batteries.

i know i should probably just get rechargables, but whatever.

Consumer Reports also named Kirkland Batteries from Costco one of the best batteries. According to actual consumers (not the experts at Consumer Reports), these are some of the leakiest batteries in existence.

I wouldn't believe everything Consumer Reports says. In for Dynex - Thanks OP!

At least they're better than Sunbeam batteries.
