Unless you're set on this model, I'd go for the cheaper G4 at about half the cost new.

The G4 does not have the secondary screen or fingerprint reader (and 1gb less RAM), but retains the same camera, CPU and has better battery life.

Having had a V10 for about 4 months now (coming from an S5), I can attest the the battery on this is abysmal!

i got the g4 recently to replace my wife's N4. it's a very nice device with a great camera. The drawback is the possible bootloop down the line. Battery life is not that great but at least it's replaceable. And SD card expansion is great to have. That said I still want a v10 for myself. But maybe wait till it hits 300.

That's pretty funny, because I recently went back a step from my G4 to the G3. Much happier with it (more stable, better battery, more comfortable in hand). And since it got the Marshmallow update it seems to run more smoothly than the G4 ever did. It seems like LG is going in the wrong direction lately.

There are many known issues with the G4 that require a complete replacement. I hear there is a huge backlog because they had to re-do the main board. I'm on my 3rd. I don't recommend it. My son's G3 has been solid for 1.5 years. I'm thinking of going back to the g2 flex.

That decision completely hinges on whether a physical keyboard is important to you.

I got the v10 about 2 weeks ago used off craigslist for 250. Love it havent had a single problem with it. Mine is the T-Mobile variant and I just got the MM update which resolved the Fingerprint sensor accuracy and speed issue. Other than that its a really great phone. No complaints here. Came from a Note 4 previously.

in addition to crappy battery life, the bluetooth connectivity on this phone is terrible. It has problems with smart devices like nest, dropcam, and the august smart lock. On other forums people complain that it can't pair with their cars.
