I was looking for cpu coolers for my new skylake build and came across this.

I have never used this brand before but it gets great reviews and the performance is comparable or better than the popular 212 evo at ~$10 cheaper. This cooler has a smaller fan (92mm vs 120mm evo 212) so it will be easier to fit into smaller cases with less clutter.

Reviews: https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...tek/Aidos/
The performance for the dollar is very high:https://www.techpowerup.com/revie...dos/8.html

While relatively unknown in USA, they outperform the beloved 212 evo in the benchmarks I've seen. I'm currently using the Aidos in my mid tower case and it's worked out great so far. I can't comment on the durability of the fan yet, as I've only had it for 2 months, but at this price I wouldn't complain if it stopped working.
Looks like its been this price before with 24 thumbs up and went OOS in ~1 day: http://slickdeals.net/e/7662930-raijintek-cpu-coolers-aidos-90mm-red-17-themis-120mm-black-or-red-24-free-shipping

Used this in a hp z400. Didn't want to buy the expensive proprietary hp part. Evo was too tall, but this fit perfect. Seem to keep it just as cool under normal use.

It seems unrealistic for it to beat Hyper 212 evo, they have another 2 Raijinteks on that bench as well that also are on par with liquid coolers. Are they really that great or is that review a bit biased towards raijins?

Great little bargain cooler. Using this to OC a G3258 to 4.5 GHz, beats the heck out of the stock cooler for a great price.

I've seen several other fishy looking benchmarks from Techpowerup. I wouldn't base my buying decision on their reviews at all. However, if you need something with a little lower profile, this seems to be a nice looking cooler. I always like seeing that direct heatpipe contact.

Check this review at Frostytech [frostytech.com], the tempreature delta and noise level is slightly worse than the 212 evo. I'm still impressed by this coolers supposed performance and I will be testing it next to the 212 evo I have already sitting around.

Almost anything beats the stock cooler. Although I've never heard of this brand and the 90 mm fan will be noisier than a 120 mm fan.
