I also would like to know. I've got house full of stained concrete floors and this *seems* like it'd be good. I'd like first hand accounts tho. I think my wife would appreciate moving away from a steam mop to something like this.

I don't personally own one but there's a lot of good info in the Q&A section of the Home Depot source link.

This is the older one, they came out with a new one called the Floormate Edge, its available at Bed Bath and Beyond for $139.99 - 20% coupon Mailer, I was able to get one for $120 including tax at my local store. I was very happy with the results as I owned the older model before and this one seemed to clean better. http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/s...er/3270711

Well I am interested in buying, just wondering is this good for vacuuming Hardwood and Laminate floor?
I recently got rid of carpet now my entire house is either Hardwood or laminate.
The one I have is having brush and hardwood setting which lift the brush, but I am looking for one without brush because brush can scratch laminate.

Also if I put laminate and hardwood cleaner I can mob with this?

This has a vacuum and it can be done first with this, then without emptying the dirty bin( of course the debris will be there in the water, but so what) you can switch to scrub. I have one of these and use it on tile floors and wood. It picks up the water with suction and does a good job of getting most of it. Probably leaves no more than steaming. I use my steamer in between, but I love being able to use a cleaner in the tank. I have even used bleach and Oxi (probably NOT recommended) when certain situations called for it. Mine came with a grout scrubbing attachment, but I feel the scrubber brushes do a good enough job. Hope that helps.

Yes I do with mine. Mine came with a hardwood floor cleaner, but I use Murphy's oil soap diluted and it does great.

Excellent price If I remember I think I paid somewhere around $120 several (5+) years ago and it still is going strong!

What's wrong with a steam mop? Was just about to pick one up.

Nothing in particular, it cleans well. But you'll have to sweep first. A machine like this will skip that step, it seems.

Thanks for the heads up, beze.
