XBox 1 HDMI to Component

I have a Sony 46" tabletop projection TV with only component inputs. Is there a way to play the Xbox 1 on this tv? The TV supports 1080p.

You need a conversion box that will do the resolution you need and probably satisfy the HDCP aspect of content.

Ha! Thanks I've been looking at that all morning - hence the post. Clear as mud! Looks like you just get the cable first and see if the TV can convert, then the smarter box.

It looks like you might need one of these http://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=14108 which is an inline HDfury2 with an HDMI and Component end. From my quick google searches it does HDCP handling.

Yiikes! Looks super overpriced. I found a bunch around $20-$40. Shit for that price may as well get a deal on an LED TV.

Yeah, that was my thinking too. Considering this is slickdeals you might as well go for a deal on some 50 inch LCD for maybe $500.

Perhaps one of these http://www.amazon.com/Portta-PETH...CVJZXF4DR8

Then one of these if you need to strip off the HDCP annoyance http://www.amazon.com/ViewHD-Powe...detailpage
