Big fan of these Taco Bell contests. I'm 3 for 4 for the last 4 years (1 PSVita, 1 Launch PS4, 1 Gold PS4).

I wonder if this means they won't be giving out PS4 systems in the Fall this year? (I was actually kind of hoping they'd have a PSVR contest)

I love Taco Bell instant win games. I have someone who always buys the prizes I win. Not sure if I'll buy the cups though. On the last contest I spent money for the cups and wound up winning on the codes sent in email.

Make that 4 for 5 on the Taco Bell videogame contests. Won my Overwatch bundle this morning at 5:22am Eastern. Third try for this contest.

I honestly have better luck with TB's "win every XX minute" games than I do with even the cheap food freebies in something like McDonalds' Monopoly contest.

The trick is to enter at some random time early in the morning, and to submit your entry right when the current time changes from one minute to another. I use the clock on my phone (synced to AT&T's network) to time my entries. I'd say I have an overall win chance of about 15% per entry over the last 5 years.

Not me. I rarely eat at Mcdonalds, and I won a food prize every single time I went in during the promo a few weeks ago.

But Taco Bell's Sony promos... I've long lamented about about it, not the fact that I've never won, but that half the time (sometimes literally) the codes have already been used, no matter which TB I go to. (Although, to be fair, it didn't happen anywhere near as much on the last promo as opposed to previous ones.)

So I'm just waiting for the AMOE to start instead of wasting money there. I thought it started tonight, not on the 5th. My mistake.

I don't think I've run into a single already-used code in the several years I've played these games. Bear in mind that the message you get when you incorrectly enter a code is the same one you get when a code is already used. Maybe there was a typo when you entered? I also always enter my code in all-uppercase letters. Not sure if that matters or not.

Trust me, they were correct - no typos or anything. And as I recall, it's not the same message: it's a Sorry you're not a winner or "try entering the code again" (I forget how it's phrased). Not only have others here run into the same problem (maybe not as bad as I have), but I personally know people that have gone to the same TBs as me that have had mysteriously non-working codes.

Regardless, I actually went up today and bought lunch, even though I wasn't planning to. (I gave up caffeine so I rarely drink soda). I think I like the cup idea better than the boxes.

EDIT: I just tested it with a random set of characters. You're right - it does say "your code is invalid or had already been used." I must have been thinking a different text in promo. (But that doesn't negate that they definitely weren't typos.)
