Galaxy note 5 smashed (any uses?)

MysteriousKarma 1,588 656 April 21, 2016 at 01:33 PM
I was walking the other day and found a note 5 that apparently was run over. The front and back are shattered and the camera is toast. I plugged it in. (from far away in the garage away from anything flammable, and the LED light came on to charge.

I feel like it needs some heavy replacement but is there anything else i can do with this thing? the spend is still there, and unbroken, so i figured i could at least sell that, but any other ideas?

I mean in theory the motherboard is worth something but for all intense and purposes it's best recycled.

You found a note 5 got run over. Probably, the phone owner doesn't want to be tracked.
You took the phone home and turn it ON?

thats what i had considered. i figured there was value in the spen as well, but was more interested in if there was a warranty program that would allow somehow a turnin. I heard AT&T was allowing phones to be added, but couldn't confirm, whether i could submit a borked device in the first place

No clue what your talking about to be honest. A very broken phone like your talking about has zero repair value to a carrier especially if your not a subscriber.
