I personally really like the dial. Being 40mm, it can easily be worn by a man or a woman with style.

This is a way better deal than the Hamilton on the front page. I say that as someone who owns three Hamiltons and is a big fan. This RW is a very nice watch.

like the design. Very unique. Not sure about the blue hands, but that color seems to be popular so maybe I am just an old fart

I think the blue hands works well and makes it easy to tell the time. Too bad it's not a deployment clasp though. I can see that leather get worn out easily from daily putting on and taking off of the watch.

I would take a Hamilton over a Raymond Weil any day of the week.

Nothing says "department store" watch more than a Raymond Weil... imho

I don't get the hate for Raymond Weil, I have a freelancer and its a great watch and they seem to be making some quality stuff recently. It's one of the only independent swiss watch brands. I don't know about department stores but the watch store near me has them right across from the rolexes.

When I think of department store watch I think more like a fashion brand quartz watch like Guess or Michael kors, e.g.

Certainly it is a more mainstream brand than some others, like Glycine. But then again so is Rolex.

Beautiful! don't see too many squarish-round faces these days, this one is indeed a joy. Good deal too for a swiss automatic from an indy watchmaker.

If you guys don't know the history of the guy behind the name it's worth the read, since he was a very important and respected figure in the independent watchmaker scene in Switzerland.
