I've had this tv since January, and as a "above average" gamer, I've been completely amazed by this tv as a 4k computer monitor

Everyone- it is absolutely fine as a monitor as far as response time. No lag, no ghosting whether it's playing games or browsing the web. However, the real issue is that since it is a rgbw display (look it up), the brightness is constantly changing. The sharpness is fine. It's not real 4:4:4, but it is absolutely readable. Again, the real issue is that the brightness will constantly get darker and lighter depending on what's on the screen. If you can get past that, this is an insanely good monitor/tv for the price. I wasn't able to though and ended up returning mine.

As far as watching television content, you probably wouldn't notice the brightness changes as much and it should be fine for that.

Yes it runs 4K at 60hz as long as you have capable hardware.

I don't think rgbw display is good for computer monitor. For video, it's probably fine.

I had a Sceptre HDTV a few years ago, we had a LOT of issues with it. We purchased the 3 year coverage on it. Had to have the repairman come out 3 times to try to fix it. After the third time, Walmart returned our money. So, go ahead and get it, but GET THE OFFERED COVERAGE! It's worth every penny.
