you need a pilot licence to operate commercially. but for hobby, you just need to register your drone.

This will most likely change soon for any "craft" under 5.5 lbs they will be much more lenient of course the inspire is more than 5.5lbs

I hate how much I want this.

My kids don't REALLY need to go to college, right? (Actually, they "don't REALLY need to eat" would probably be more accurate.)

Does this have the obstacle avoidance like the Phantom 4?

In for another one for my kids. Last one was wrecked. I highly recommend DJI CARE if you are newbies or buying for your kids.

Two operator mode looks very good. Also, it looks like the gimbal may be 360 degree which is also an advantage over the phantom 4.

Just need to license it with the FAA for a $5 fee.

Even for commercial purposes? That would be amazing.

Ya I fly for a company and we have the original inspire which is truly a great machine but there have been leaks indicating the faa is going to release a revision soon. Unfortunately the inspire will still require licensing and some sort of license but you won't need to learn how to fly a Cessna to fly an inspire haha

What company do you fly for?

But even with phantom 3 pro one could probably make something that would meet the commercial needs of certain clients.
