Just out of curiosity, what happens to the shortcut buttons when their service is removed? Can you map the rdio button to something else? Does it launch Pandora, since they bought rdio? Wish they'd just quit with those stupid buttons. The latest Roku Stick (2016) is actually decent -- Netflix / Amazon Video / Sling / Google Play (or Vudu, if purchased at Walmart.)

Which is the better deal, this 32" Insignia with Roku or the 40" Vizio E series refurb at Walmart for $10 more?

From one of the reviews

The Roku Media Player doesn't support as many video codecs as I'd like. It does support most of the major ones, like H.264 (MP4), but you might need to transcode some of your files if they're in less common formats. This is only an issue if you're streaming from a media server on your network or playing files from a USB storage device.

If you have a PC you use as a host for you local media, you can overcome this using the Plex channel to stream to the TV. Obviously this isn't ideal, since it will usually need to transcode the video on-the-fly on the host system, increasing your power consumption and reducing your video quality, but it works well enough for most people.

If anyone has a suggestion of a Roku channel that has access to a full set of playback codecs, and possibly adds metadata to your video collection, I'd love to hear it. Right now the only reason I haven't switched from my Android TV to a Roku is because I don't know if there's anything that can replace Archos Video Player.

Also... answering my own question, I've seen from the reviews that the Rdio button is just dead. Linked to dead service, no remapping option.

Awesome deal, should be FP soon as the one I posted went FP.

BTW, I just called BB and had them price match it no problem. It is well within their 15 day price match guarantee...
