Cricket Wireless has the LG G Stylo for $49.99 after activation. Did a search and didn't find any new posts with this mentioned. This is the cheapest I've seen the stylo by far! According to previous posts, looks like it should work for current members as well.

seems like a decent deal on a phone. ps it comes with a sim so that saves you like 5-10 dollars on cricket.

Have this, there is only like 3GB left to use and LG disabled the ability to use SD card as extended storage.

I believe using an SD card as storage is a feature of Android 6.0 and not available to do on 5.0. Nothing that LG disabled but rather a feature not available on lollipop.

A 8 gig device is really pointless even if it was free.

Great phone for kids and those who don't use a lot of apps. I got the Stylo's during the holidays for the same price, no problems with it at all. Battery lasts forever, great cellular reception on ATT network.

The screen is 5.7", which is really nice. The stylus is also surprisingly handy. LG's skin allows you to have up to 5 soft-touch buttons, and you can re-organize them in any order you want - sweet!

I really like this phone.

You should read yours back then!

In all seriousness though, you cannot do much with an 8GB device running Android Lollipop. After the OS there isn't much room to install anything. Sure, maybe good as a throw around device for someone and the SD card slot allows for movies and music on it but very limited with being able to install any apps.

Yes, you have to pay for at least a month of service as well. They wouldn't make much money if they just sold phones at a discount.

I agree. I'm going through this with my kid's Moto E. I'll have to root it if they don't plan an upgrade to 6.0 soon.

Interesting, as my Moto G LTE Gen1 with 8GB internal storage is working quite well.

Then again, I don't load that many apps or take many pictures or load lots of media on it. Perhaps I'm the exception rather than the rule.
