Seems like a good deal might have to pick one up!

Really bad reviews on this keyboard. Sticky keys, double taps, etc.

I've had one for a bit, no issues. the switches are similar to Blues but feel slightly more mushy.

the macro keys in the side farked me up once in a while. it made me forget my placement on the keyboard and I would hit the wrong key at times.

great deal none the less.

"Razer mechanical switches Feature a 50g actuation force, giving a tactile feel for precise, enhanced operation." I think those would be the Razer Greens. Kailh makes them for Razor. From my understanding they are not the same as the Cherry MX knock offs from Kailh, but Razor spec'ed switches made by Kailh. But I also think my statement above depends on if this is the 2014 or 2016 version of the keyboard.

Thanks was hoping for 2016 orange switches. Might pass.

Doesn't anybody make a decent ergonomical one? Haven't checked in a while but last time I did there was basically nothing... Have one of the MS ergo ones for a while now and can't go back to regular ones.

You'd have to make it yourself, Ergodox.

I've been using a Blackwidow for about 5 years. I like it, but its because its the original Cherry MX version. I wouldnt touch the new ones with a 10ft pole.
If I were to go regular retail it would be a Corsair K70. But non standard key size/placement so better off with cm storm or a Ducky.

Hmm, If indeed the 2014, then definitely a great deal. If I had the funds I might grab another then.

I have the 2015 version with the fancy lights. But I am sure this still applies. If you play MMOs ir any other game that uses the F1-F12 keys I would skip this keyboard. Razer had the genius idea of shifting all of those keys by 4-5cm to the right. Which makes some of the keys inaccessible if you use a WASD finger placement on the board.

I've been looking for years for the same, have gone thru multiple MS Ergos. Still can't find the back lighting and reasonable price yet.

It's majorly expensive but there is a pre built ergodox on idiegogo, as well as a bare pre built offered on ebay direct from a china manufacture.

Exactly. I have Corsair K70 with Cherry MX Browns, and love it! Paid $100. Definitely worth the extra $30 for a substantial step up in build quality. Right now, I would go with the Rosewill keyboard with Cherry switches for $50 over this.
