Looks like they are matching the regular flex price on amazon.

Why don't you put $169.99 in the title?

I would say these are in two different leagues. The mp-5 are muscle back irons which fall mostly into intermediate to player(expert) irons. The Adams Blue are beginners to intermediate. I am just starting to get into golf as a real hobby and the Adams Blue will fit me nicely. If you are in the single digit handicap, the mp-5 would be more beneficial to you.

With these Adams you'll be replacing the grips very early. A cheap fix, but just FYI

In this price range, having to replace grips quickly makes a big difference. $5 per club is a good estimate. Good note.

You should put regular flex in the title. the stiff flex is a good amount more.

I would much rather have a quality used iron set off eBay than these. this set is specifically marketed as a budget line. Adams used to make high quality clubs but this line is not great and the brand is likely to continue to be bad until Taylormade (owned by Adidas) sells the name off to someone else.

I have to disagree with you. My father has the Adams A7's, and they are pretty impressive in how forgiving they are, as well as the distance many of the clubs give you. After playing a few rounds with those clubs, I decided to get the Adams Idea V4's last year. Incredible clubs for the price (I bought the entire iron set plus hybrids for less than $200).

I golf a few times a month (around 15 rounds a season), and I feel like these have given me A LOT of help. They are made for the casual golfer, who needs a lot of help. Golf Digest magazine often has the Adams line of golf clubs as one of the best "max game improving" iron set each year. I highly recommend them if you don't play enough golf to warrant buying a $400+ set of irons.

Golfdigest.com has the Adams Blue set as among it's top 10 sets for 2016 in the "super game improving" irons category: http://www.golfdigest.com/hot-lis...ment-irons

You'll be hard pressed to find a new set of brand name irons at this price point. New golfers could benefit from the tech. In the super game improvement market you're paying about $21 per club vs. $100 per club if you bought ping gmax irons. Saves money for lessons.
