Amex offer will not fire for GC purchases from Cashstar. YMMV about getting Amex customer service to manually issue the credit.

Keep in mind this promotion was created to benefit teachers. You buy the $100 card and the teacher you want to give it to gets the $20 gc to spend on supplies for their students.

you buy $100 staples eGC and they would send out a $20 gift code to the email address you designate ?

Ehhh. Is it me or has Staples really gone downhill lately? Their prices do not seem to be even remotely competitive on computer hardware anymore. For ex., they are selling Samsung 850 EVO 1 Tb SSDs at $444 and the Cyberpower CP1500PFCLCD at $243 lol. They must be taking a cue from OfficeDepot on how to go out of business lol?
