Something else I don't think has been mentioned (but then why would it, this is a poo thread LMAO )

If you have any of the Band-Aid $1 off any coupons (5/18 RP), they have boxes of 30 for $1. Got 10 free yesterday, hoping they get more in.

OP, until we get a DG thread do you mind if we post other deals here too?
Yes, I keep checking here to see what else you guys have found, so I can go back and shop some MORE!!!

Keep up the GOOD SHOPPING!!!

Well, it looks like you may want this thread to become the Dollar General Thread.
Smilie

Looks like some of the "construction" has started on this to become one. Smilie

EDMAN307 -- I will need your permission if you want me to change your thread and if you want to be the OP for the new Dollar General Thread. Smilie

as for in conjunction with the other suave coupons, it is a seperate kind of coupon, you purchase x amount of product get x amount off, like the $6 pork coupon if you purchase charcoal, dressing & kc masterpiece, you can still have a coupon for all of the other items! it is not doubling. has worked every time I have tried it without a glitch even.

I know some have successfully used other coupons in conjuction with a coupon similar to the pork coupon hunnypotsmom mentioned above, but in my area it would be rare to find a cashier that would let you do it. It works sometimes because most of the times the coupons won't beep, but if the cashier scrutinizes the coupons then they'll say it's double-dipping.

Yes and in some states (Maryland is one), they also have single check rebates sometimes. The reason I say that it's in some states is that I was vacationing in Hershey, PA and I asked the cashier where their rebate booklets were and she and the coupon-savy customer behind me looked at me like I had three heads. It was during the last rebate period which was May/June. The cashier said they do not have any type of rebate program in PA. I know their rebates are not monthly, but does anyone know exactly how often they are? I only remember submitting them in the summer months because that's when I have the most time to do my couponing/rebating.

According to their website their rebate books are no longer offered. I don't know if they've done away with them completely or if this certain time period is over. I've sent them an email asking about it and will let you all know what I find out. Oh, it does say on the website that you can still submit your rebate form by July 21st for the purchases made between May 24th and July 6th.

Do you think they would let you use the store $2/$6, BOGO, and cents off on the same ticket?

This will be the temp location for Dollar General deals -- Please note that this thread is not official for Dollar General deals until the OP gives permission to change the thread.

Should this become the Official Dollar General thread, the wiki will stay here. If not, it may be moved to a different location.

Out of respect to the OP -- Please do not start another Dollar General thread until we can verify if the OP wants this to become the Dollar General thread. It was this users deal that started talk about Dollar General and should be respected. Smilie

Now tell Dollar General to open some stores in So Cal. Mad

Take this with you if they say they don't take MQs.

Here is what I asked:

Dollar General Policy Question: I noticed that there were some Dollar General coupons in last week's paper. Can I use one of your coupons in conjunction with a manufacturer's coupon as you can at Target, CVS, and Walgreens? Also, do you accept coupons printed from the internet such as those made available from manufacturer's website, Bricks, Smartsoure, and Red Plum? I have searched for your coupon policy but have not been able to locate it, if I somehow missed it,will you please provide a link. Thank you! (This is a request for information only, I have not a problem with any store.)

Thank you for your e-mail. Dollar General accepts manufacturer coupons along with the Dollar General issued coupon, unless either of the coupons states otherwise.

You are a valued customer here at Dollar General and we appreciate you shopping with us.

Kind regards,

Crystal Cantrell

Suave DG coupons can be found either in a tri-folded flyer with a young woman and little boy on the front. You have to open the flyer to see the coupon. There were some just laying on the shelves and also in a holder by the shampoo, by the body wash, and (I think) by the Q-tips. Credit togt6mk31 and ILUV2SHOP247

Suave DG coupons have an expiry of 8/31 so we have plenty of time to "SHOP"! woot
laugh out loud laugh out loud laugh out loud

Yes, It is OK with me for this to be the official wikki. Great Job!!

I missed out on Planters deal last week at WAG, but was at Dollar General today, and they had Planters peanuts for $1.75 and cashews for $3.50. I picked up one of each, and 6 Kool-aid at $.20 ea. for a total of $6.45. After my 2 $3 Planters coupons I paid only 45 cents. Deal would have been even better (overage of $1.30) if I'd bought 2 peanuts instead, but I like the cashews!

How are you all getting the the 12 ct. Electrosol with the q in RP? I did the bandaids after work.....$.42 for 6 boxes...yea! Really could use the dishwasher stuff for DIL

and dont' forget, there are like 6 different planters coupons and each let you print 2x's so I got 12 from each computer!!!!!(I have 5 computers! hehehe..) I don't need any nuts for my christmas candy now! (we make peanut brittle and sometimes have fund raisers with it!) we will be stocked! it is good until sometime in august and I love the cashews! yummy
today I got 10 more shampoos/conditioners, 2 suave lotions for .68 tx! hehe...then I got 4 kotex, a couple of small toys marked down 80%! (barbie repunzle doll & prince for $3.60) so my oop was less than $5 total! there was also pert plus for $3 (not sure if the $3 q will work, it was a new bottle but did not say botanical on it) so most likely the $2 q would have to do.

Is there enough interest here for a Dollar General thread?

Wasn't sure if there are enough slickdeals at Dollar General (again none here where I live, but I know they are everywhere else) to warrant its own thread.

Let me know on this thread here! Thanks!
YES ! Please nod
