Is buying coffee on Amazon even worth it? Most of the time it's not fresh right?

Unless you're buying from a roaster than actually prints the roast date on the package (e.g. Intelligentsia or Counter Culture) then you are probably not getting fresh beans. And even then if you want fresh you're much better off ordering direct than through amazon.

Yeah, I'd recommend against it. I ordered some Peet's on Amazon last month, it only had a couple weeks left before the "sell by" date, and that was already several months after it had been roasted, which is way too long. Next time I'll order direct.

Perfect timing! Because I had no plans to buy this and in fact I don't even drink coffee, which is why it would have been a shame to pay full price for something I don't need. In for one.

oh I think it depends. I get mine from those bean dispensers in organic or regular stores. Them beans are usually smell fresh enough to get everyone in office over for a cup. Doesn't mean it's gonna happen though Wink
