I have this particular level and works fantastically. It functions as well as my DeWalt level that cost 4x more than this level. The build quality of Dewalt is much better. But performance wise they are very similar, so much so, I will probably sell my Dewalt level. My 2 cents.

"accuracy rating of +/-1/4 in. at 30 ft" This may not be wonderful (I'm accustomed to about 1/8" at 250 feet for major construction, but those lasers do not sell fro $49 either), but it's fine for indoor projects and I may get one of these.

Most surprise points can't be used on Hot Buy items.

Would it be worth it to buy if I'm putting pavers in the back yard? Or should I just do it with a 4 foot level. Thanks.

I just bought a hammerhead auto leveling laser on Amazon for the same price with fantastic reviews.

I've had this from a SD several years ago. of all the laser levels I've got, this one is by far the best. I don't have any experience with the more expensive pro versions of these things though.

Returned a non-self leveling model from HF a few weeks ago. Going in for this. How best can you raise this up? I want to level the railing for wall cabinets.

1. The accuracy is atrocious, +/- 0.25" is a joke. Not that your pavers need this degree of refinement but every other project will.

2. Impossible to view in sunlight.

3. Scrap the 4' and go with 78" or 96" Stabila box beam instead.
Welcome back. Are you sure that there isn't something from Festool that you could recommend for even more money?
