Philips home automation bulbs, gen 1(600 lumens). Gen 2 are about 200 lumens more than Gen1.
Lowest price I have seen. Not compatible with Apple Homekit as this is generation 1 you will need gen 2 bridge to work. Will work with Amazon echo.

A note of clarification - the bulbs are compatible with HomeKit, but you will need a gen2 bridge in order to use them. You can use gen1 and gen2 bulbs with either bridge, so if HomeKit integration is something you want eventually, you can still get these. The only difference will be the 200 fewer lumens output.

The starter kit and hue tap switch bundle is a great deal. Anyone have a coupon code for free shipping? Looks like shipping adds $10 for me.

I got free shipping, but I ordered 5 kits. I had to pay for shipping when I just ordered one for my brother in law

Different thing. Your link is for 2 white bulbs plus the bridge. OP's link is for 3 color bulbs plus the bridge.

Thank you for this! Repped! I thought about getting a 1st gen kit to add bulbs to my 2nd gen, but wanted it to be cheaper. Having the tap included for $25 more sealed the deal.

Thanks again!

New entrant into the smart lighting market...If I don't care about HomeKit, is there any major reason not to get the Gen 1 hub? With 5 minutes of googling it seems like the only major difference is the HomeKit compatibility.
