Is this a good deal? It is locked to AT&T but I'm assuming that it can be eventually be unlocked. Please advise.

I think this is a good deal. I bought one already. I could not find a better price on the 64gb version that's in excellent condition. Also, as you mentioned, this can be eventually unlocked through AT&T.

The "manufacturer refurbished" part is a lie, as in all eBay listings like this.

It's likely not actually even refurbished, they say they do an inspection. Most importantly - the battery won't have been replaced.

Can you elaborate? How long do you have to wait before you can unlock?

As long as it's not reported lost or stolen AT&T will unlock it according to their website.

No band 12 support on T-Mobile. This is the same model that T-Mobile sold. http://www.techwalls.com/differen...us-models/

I just bought one about a week ago from the same seller. The device looked pretty good except the front earpiece was a little dirty. Then I checked the battery and it gave me a "very bad" I used the "battery life" app. It stated the battery needed to be replaced. Took the phone to Apple to get a confirmation and they confirmed that the battery needed to be replaced. Contacted the seller "mywit" they responded fast and assured I could send the device back in for a refund. I messaged them back asking if I could just be refunded the amount that Apple will charge me for a new battery and they said they would.
Just wanted to give me experience with them.
