Sam's has the Vizio 65" 4k for 1198, just dropped from $1350 still more expensive at Amazon.

Resolution: 4K (3840x2160)
Refresh Rate: 240Hz
WiFi Built-in
Contrast Ratio: 20,000,000:1 DCR
Inputs
5x HDMI
1x USB
1x Composite
1x Component
1x Ethernet
120 HZ Panel.

Rtings gives it a great score.

Model is on it's way out (2015 model), so YMMV, while supplies last.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

A little cheaper and no tax for a lot of states with 5% off direct from Vizio. You get 5% code for signing up for emails.

5% looks to be only for vizio.com, unless I'm missing something?

Yeah you're missing where I said "direct from Vizio".

Could have been interpreted as the coupon is "direct from Vizio", not the TV. I read it the same way as delfindle.

Anyhow, OOS on vizio.com. So the point is moot.

It wasn't out of stock when I commented, but yeah it is now. And why would I mention no tax just for a coupon?

Perhaps you were commenting on how good of a deal this was, adding some color, like "a little cheaper" than other deals, and "no tax for a lot of states", "plus, get 5% more off with a coupon direct from Vizio".

Potato, potahto.

Nice TV none the less...

Indeed, wasn't looking to be snarky. Just wasn't sure if there was a way to get an additional 5% off the Sam's Price that I didn't know about, might have pushed some over the edge on this deal.

Thanks, OP. We've been waiting and were going to settle for a Vizio E-Series for $949 but this pushed us to the M-Series with the Spatial Scaling of non 4K content. Much appreciated. Could maybe have waited for better deal but we're not getting any younger.

I had actually bought it a few weeks ago and was waiting for this, had to threaten to return it to get Sam's to match the price. YMMV, but they told me that the policy was 7 days to price match. Return policy of 90 though, so I could of just swapped it out and caused more grief.

That is good to know. My worry is that because the 2016 model Series-M have just been given a price and may ship soon, these 2015 models will be deeply discounted. WalMart is one of the best retailers for knowing when to dump inventory without discounting too much, so I think they may be the first to start dumping these but will be followed shortly by retailers not so good at the game who just want to dump at any cost.

Costco has been out of stock for a bit, and so has Amazon.com. Looks like they are getting a bit scarce, still it's 400 bucks cheaper than the new sets (not counting coupons and the like) and it's just the right height for my stand. I figure the smarts can just get replaced with a ChromeCast or a FireTV or Roku, so the Google Cast on the new sets sounded a bit buggy.

For those that are military, price match to Home Depot and get 10% off the matched price.

Why would you buy a 2015 model when you can get the 55" P-series for an extra $100 ($1299)?

Your comparison is full of fail.

The smarter comparison is to compare against the 2016 65" M series, retailing at $1499 on Vizio.com. 5% off makes it $1424.05. So would you pay $226 more for a 2016 M series with 64 dimming zones and hdr?
