Which would you feel more of a dick?

Making them walk all the way to your door step carrying a 1 oz package or making them walk alll the way there with something heavy? One feels more worthy than the other that's forsure Smilie

I have no idea how you are "squatting" with this... but it's better designed for deadlifts

It is designed for deadlifts, but a hex bar deadlift really works the legs much more than a traditional deadlift. The exercise is probably closer to a squat in terms of the actual muscles worked than it is to a deadlift.

Unless you do quarter squats and fail to reach even parallel on a low bar squat then sure... I could see that.

Nothing beats a heavy squat with proper technique and good depth.

This hex bar is an excellent accessory lift for training your posterior chain, you will definitely see improvements with deadlifts and squats.

Agreed on the depth. It's hard to get good ROM on a hex bar deadlift (part of the reason why most people can lift more on hex bar DL than regular DL).

Some hex bars can be flipped "upside down" for more ROM by using the lower set of handles. This bar actually has the two separate sets of handles which is a good feature.

this thing is a piece of junk. I ordered one for this price a while ago. it's literally spray painted silver. the silver paint comes off on your hands when you use it. also, the knurling is super sharp and it hurts. I wish I would have spent another 50 bucks on a nicer one but it does the job
