This weekend I bought D58u-D3 at costco for 699 plus 59$ for warranty of total 5 years. I guess extra 70$ is worth the extra 3inches. Also with vizio, warranty is important too.
edit:Sorry, got confused with D series. For M, this is a good price though

tempted to buy this for the living room and put my other 50 inch vizio in the bedroom.. would that size be an overkill for the bedroom?

It seems like you're looking for some reassurance to buy this. The answer is no size is overkill. Buy it now. If you're SO gets mad blame me, internet stranger laugh out loud.

How so I'm not into TVs that's why I asked? So the TCL is better?

The M-series Vizios are one of the highest rated 4k "budget" TVs (meaning below $1000). I'm sure it is way better than TCL (whatever brand that is).
