Problem unlocking Sprint Galaxy S7

CyberGuy 2,320 297 April 25, 2016 at 06:55 PM
I have a Sprint Galaxy S7 Edge that I'm trying to unlock it with a T-Mobile sim card, but I don't get the unlock code entry screen upon restarting. I just get an invalid SIM card message. Where can I enter the unlock code? Thanks.

Try swiping / touching the screen and/or try a different non-at&t sim.

it is Sprint is different than T mobile

That firmware on the Sprint "P" variant, for example, will enable CCA/RRPP compliant bands 2/4/5/12/25/26/41 but disable VZW band 13, AT&T bands 29/30, and VoLTE. Similar segmentation applies to the other domestic variants, such as the AT&T "A" variant and T-Mobile "T" variant, both of which disable CDMA2000 and Sprint bands 25/26/41

Sprint is CDMA. T-mobile and att are GSM. It won't work, or if it does you'll have horrible reception. Best to sell the phone on swappa.com and buy a t-mobile version.
Also the unlock code is unique to each phone. you'll have to talk to Sprint to get the unlock code usually they won't give it to you unless you have the phone and your phone bill paid off

try turn on "Developer mode" by taping the build number few times, then go back one step can see the developer option, turn on "USB Debugging" and "OEM Unlocking"
