I have a memory foam pillow I got from Costco with cooling gel and its great especially in the summer. Found this cooling mat with the same gel material on sale. Should be good for the lower back pain I get from running.

Measures 12.2 x 22 in.

Sounds like this might be a good idea for people who don't move around when they sleep.

Funny how the people in the photos are using cooling mats and wearing blankets. The kid looks like he's freezing.

I can sleep with hot blankets, but I can't sleep with a hot pillow.

I have bought and tried both this one and the other (Gel'O cooling matt) on amazon. The other one is by far more comfortable and by far more effective at cooling. Although that was when they were both $30. At $15 this is something I would consider.

Not sure about you, but I find that if it's cold enough to use blankets, my pillow isn't usually hot. Anyway, I just find it odd that they chose photos of people wearing blankets to advertise a "cooling" product.

Just get a block of ice and stick it in a pillow case. Situation under control.

I liked the chillow but hated the leaking of water. I'll give this a shot. I'm also baffled by how many people don't consider this a problem. I love a cool pillow to sleep on.

I'm not sure about you, but when I go to bed I ALWAYS use blankets. Why are you so dumbfounded that the pictures show people using blankets? Do you sleep on a rock?

Oops, didn't realize you were from Philly. Now it all makes sense.

You seem to have a problem grasping the concept of context. This is a product that is designed to be put into a refrigerator and advertised to keep something cool. Whoever was in charge of marketing chose to include pictures of people using the product who are wearing blankets and one person who is bundled up like it's the dead of winter. My point is that the two messages in this context seem inconsistent from a marketing perspective. Whatever you personally do in bed has nothing to do with it. And since we're resorting to ad hominem, maybe you should get a sleep partner so you're not shivering every night and not needing to wear blankets regardless of the temperature.
