Have people been able to stack 10% and student discounts recently in store? And if so, which one did you use first (10% or student)?

AFAIK, their fusion on the current model comes with 24gb ssd so it adds no real benefit but slight bursts in speeds for certain things basically like ram caching xept they do it on the small ssd.

I thought the base option has always been the fusion drive for a while, i guess apple went further to milk the crap out of their customers.

After tax the fusion drive 27" model becomes the same price as buying tax free from B&H.(minus the reward cert from BB which is about $33.)(B&H is taxed in NY)

Might be interesting to ask B&H if they would price match.

Also, keep in mind that the 1TB+fusion iMac from 2015 is a bit dumbed down to just 24GB of flash. http://9to5mac.com/2015/10/13/ret...u-serious/
You need to move up to at least 2TB+fusion to get 128GB of flash.

So this may not make sense for the $200 difference.

The 10% coupons don't work anymore. However you do get 10% back in rewards points if you pay with your BestBuy credit card. This offer is on only until the end of April.
