Wife and I finally got through Braccus Rex. . .we were screaming at one another before it was done. . .I'm yelling at her, "MAKE IT RAIN!!!!!SHE'S GOING TO DIE!!!!!" I had her character and 1 party member and and I had myself and 1 party member. That was a very hard, strategic battle. We kind of took a cheap approach. . .get kill one of them, retreat. . .kill one, retreat. . .

How's the SLI compatability on this? And how's the local co-op on PC work for this?
Would you be able to plug in a kb/mouse and then a cheapo PS3 imitation controller?

I would say so. I can play this on my couch since it has native controller support. I played it together with my brother over online co-op and had a ton of fun.

Like Wasteland 2, Pillars of Eternity- this game has minimal hand holding like the true RPGs of old. I'm playing this on normal difficulty and it still requires a lot of planning, trial & error, and tact to win battles. Every battle won feels like a great accomplishment.

But it combines the best of both worlds. Although challenging, its not overwhelming. The UI is great too and the learning curve is not as bad as you think. Definitely recommended even for RPG novices.

Currently playing this through on PS4. Fantastic, old school style RPG.

I bought this before realizing that it's about 70 hours to get through the game. Definitely worth the $20 for the amount of storyline provided !

A real gem of a game, especially when you factor in the couch-coop. Very few mods for the Enhanced Edition, even though this has Steam Workshop (you can find a few on the Nexus). I guess vanilla was just too good to change.
