It's not....but the one for $199 is only 16GB. The 32GB is $249.99.....still better

Not so....it will work with all US carriers. The only thing with the Project Fi purchase is, you have to activate service within 30 days or they will charge the extra $150 which would be full price. So I guess the Groupon deal is better, if you do not want the Fi service

Show me any other phone right now that has a camera as good as this phone, a fingerprint sensor and immediate updates straight from Google for the next 2 major OS updates and I might think about agreeing with you.

ProjectFi swings between TMO and Sprint bands; this version comes equipped with a CDMA radio

Project Fi does indeed give you the US version, since it has the added T-Mobile bands that the international version doesn't have (Band 12, for instance).

Fi definitely doesn't work for my family, but can it be canceled and still be slick?

Check out the Project Fi thread. It's pretty easy to activate and immediately cancel (within minutes) the Project Fi service with virtually no fees.

Yea. I ordered through Fi but don't have service through them. Check out the Project Fi thread. You can activate and cancel easily, without talking to a representative.
