I can't wait to see how much these cost on black Friday in 2018. I think I'll wait until then, they will probably be cheaper.

Is the Sandisk a good SSD for the Alienware Alpha?

I use the Sandisk. At this price (and if you need it) you should get it. You will notice no difference in comparison to higher priced drives.

Bought one of these over the last holidays and use it in an enclosure for the xbone. I've been happy. Game tapes load up real snappy like. PS the comments about waiting have been great.

Hm... that sandisk is tempting. I just recently started getting super slow boot time on my old sandisk extreme drive and fear that it's health is failing. I was waiting for the MyDigitalSSD BPe5 sale to come back, but maybe I should jump on this before my drive fails completely.

I'd set a price target of $130 - $150 for the TB SSD.. thats when I'd upgrade my laptop.. for now I set the spin cycle to maximize energy savings

I can't wait to see the prices of these the moment before I take my last breath when I am on my death bed.

raid-0 is pointless for ssds. your lose trim/ garbage collection abilities so it will actually preform worse than a single drive after a while.

top that off, real world performance gains of raid-0 is none existent for games vs a single drive.
