This should be front page, the 1500 pure sine wave was, when it hit $140 a couple times... this is a little less battery for a little less money.

Only good if you aren't in CA, otherwise the tax kills the deal because the cost is $136.25 out of the door.
Last time I got CyberPower CYCP1500PFCL CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS System for $137.95.

Any detriment due to PCs that have PFC, or does the pure sine wave pretty much negate the necessity of this UPS having the PFC feature?

This is an Uninterrupted Power Supply, you would connect your pc to it, if for any reason you experience power loss you will have some extra time to shut down your pc safely, time depends on the model you purchase can be anywhere from a few minutes to 20 or 30 minutes

Is there an easy way to calculate roughly how long this would run my Mac mini and Lenovo ts140 before shutting down in an outage?

Sinewave UPS's are for PC's with active PFC.
Though one of my PSU's has active PFC that is connected to a square wave UPS and works fine. YMMV

When the electric goes out in your house, this will provide power for devices for a short period of time.

Plus surge protection and AVR (automatic voltage regulation) for dips and is line interactive for spikes or brown-outs.
