Good price. Been waiting on one of these to complete my networking closet. Couldn't stand the thought of buying one for the usual price of $55. I've had one of these to protect my home server from power flickers for a couple of years and it still works well.

These are great when they aren't DOA. Have 3 running and they definitely prolong the life of your PCs.

Thanks OP! I was eyeing the BGE70 / 90 in another deal but this is better for my specific requirements.

What kind of time could you expect to gain from the battery on this for just a standard desktop for argument sake, as I know different devices will drain it quicker.

about 3-8 minutes or so depending what devices you have connected to the battery outlets and how many watts your machine is drawing.

I may be wrong but I think its < 5 minutes in a complete power loss. Just enough time to save everything and safely turn off the PC.

Something like this isn't really aimed at keeping your computer running for more than a few minutes. The idea is that it prevents unexpected shutdowns due to power spikes/brownouts or blackouts. Giving you time to save your work and power down cleanly. I wouldn't expect more than 10 minutes (being very generous) from this UPS. Of course it will keep things like a router or network switch powered longer than a full desktop computer and monitor.

If you're worried about alarms going off at night, there are settings to disable the alarm between particular hours, or disable it entirely.
