Cabela's has the 300 rounds of Federal American Eagle .45 ACP on sale for $109.99 with free ammo can.

http://www.cabelas.com/product/AM...T.tsrc=AFF
Free shipping with code 46FREE (ends today 4/27):

Federal has a $30 rebate per can (max of 5) making it $79.99/can shipped:
https://www.federalpremium.com/do...te_web.pdf

They also have 300rd American Eagle in .40 for $59.99 after rebate (same link).

For .45 comes out to $0.26/rd shipped, .40 comes out to $0.20/rd

Can also use Active-junk-y for 12% CB

Better than prior Natchez deal for some who like me had to pay $81 shipping for 5 cans.

NOTE: Rebate states it applies to 5 of each product, meaning you can buy 5 cans of each caliber for total rebate of $300

People may want to consider avoiding 45 cal altogether, since 380 ammo, like Federal's Personal Defense/Tactical JHP, is now a more-than-adequate 'stopping' option.

45 is overkill, and might injure others aside from the target, because of the velocity and grain size. Home defense, along with CCW personal defense, is better covered with 18.5" pump 12 gauge shotgun, and 2.75" 380 LCP 7 shot conceal.

I agree with some of this (pump 12 wins for home defense any day). Blanketly recommending that 380 has more than enough stopping power doesn't account for many important variables in my opinion. Most 380 pistols have 7-8 shot capacity. The average hit rate of a civilian at 7 feet is about 14% (if you're lucky in a high stress situation, a police officer is about 20%). You might get 1 380 round into the intruder coming at you with or without a weapon in their hand. I don't trust ONE 380 JHP with my life if I have another option. If you are talking CCW and size, weight, conceal-ability are primary concerns, then 380 is a reasonable option. It's far from a complete solution for any situation. 9mm, 40s&w, 45acp have better arguments for that.

I don't mean to flame or derail. Getting off my soap box now.

In for 40 and 45. Thank you OP!
