SC29501, my local Walmart had stacks of these just after Christmas for this price & didn't seem to move much at all----then, raised price to maybe $160. or so.

It seems one might get lucky, and Wally will ship you the 1080p version.

The resolution difference aside, I think the Sharp mentioned earlier might be a better buy.

Since you know it is 1080p plus it has 3 HDMI, and the Sony only two.

How are people actually figuring out that they're getting 1080p instead of 720p? Or are they basing off the image?

I got the sharp when I first took it out of the box the tv felt cheap but once I set it up looks nice and the image is really good. other mention issues with the sound but I had no issues at all. I'll choose 1080 over the 720.
