If I understand correctly, this model can't support Tomato or DD-WRT, if that matters to you. Looks like a good price for the unit though!

Same or different rebate from the last router deal?

'Only 1 rebate(s) per qualifying product per household per
promotion will be accepted'.

So, if last week I purchased a different ASUS product and used this same rebate form (PROMOTION # ASU-13600 ), can I still get the rebate for this deal?

Also, Newegg says 'Limit 2' but the rebate would be for 1 item only, right?!
Sorry for the silly questions - never done Asus rebates before

Add little more dolla and get wireless AC. They frequently have them on sale for $19.99 anyway.

Keep an eye out for bundle deals - they pop up fairly often. As an example: $110 for router + modem http://slickdeals.net/f/8685547-netgear-ac1750-smart-wi-fi-router-netgear-cm400-docsis-3-0-cable-modem-110-free-shipping?src=SiteSearch

I second that question. I'm thinking on just going away from cable.

I bought an SB6183 (I have Ultimate) and recently bought the RT-N56U. I used to have a TL-WDR3600 router (with DD-WRT fully tweaked) which I would get ~30MB down wireless and ~200MB down wired. With the RT-N65U (with Padavan), I get ~150MB down wireless and ~275MB down wired. The range is improved by a good 50-75ft as well. If you're in the market for both a modem and router, as suggested above, look for a combo deal.
